Lesson 5 in Change Your Child's Life Forever is about questions children ask.

Many parents do not enter into spiritual training with their children because they are afraid of the difficult questions they will be asked. Children certainly can ask tough questions and they will! But you do not want to let this problem deter you from teaching your child to pray.

The solution is to be ready when questions come. Lesson 5 contains a section about questions children ask: about God, about Jesus, about Heaven and Hell, and about the Church. You can see the Table of Contents for more details. The Workbook contains an overview of the answers given in the lesson, so that parents can refer to them as questions arise.

This section of the website has additional questions and answers. You are also invited to submit your questions and we will try to answer as many as possible on this page. See the link below to submit your questions.

Question - Is it cold in heaven?

Answer - No, it is always the perfect temperature.

Rationale - We do not know the details of heaven, except that we are in the presence of God along with all the angels and saints. However heaven is presented in the Bible as place of perfect harmony, righteousness, and enjoyment. To have storms and bad weather in heaven would obviously be an intrusion into this bliss. Therefore most theologians consider heaven to be a place where we are happy and blessed forever. We might consider heaven to be the perfect fulfillment of Psalm 121. It says that the Lord will preserve us from all evil. It adds that, for those whom God protects, the sun shall not smite them by day or the moon by night. This is a reference to the discomfort of the sun's glaring heat and promises the Lord will bless the righteous with the "shade from his right hand." If God will bless the righteous with such comforts in this life, how much more will they experience God's comfort in heaven.
